Studies of physics at the Technische Universität München with focus on biophysics and computational physics. PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry revealing the quantized transistor response to ion channels by nonstationary noise analysis. Founded an IT enterprise and co-initiated the founding of a spin-off company in the field of CMOS-based biosensors.
